Sound Lab Polar Software for Windows

TEF - The Measurement Platform

Today's sound professionals demand technology that is accurate and affordable. With Sound Lab Polar software and the TEF analyzer, never has so much been so affordable. The TEF analyzer offers legendary technology and unrivaled flexibility, enabling you to conduct business with professionalism and precision. It all adds up to one powerful package - and a decidedly sound decision.

Polar Response Measurements

Sound Lab Polar automates the demanding and tedious task of testing loudspeakers and microphones to graph polar coverage patterns. With features such as TDS measurements, automatic beamwidth calculation and multiple frequency displays, Polar is the ideal tool for testing new designs, verifying proven designs and generating marketing data. To improve measurement speed and accuracy, Sound Lab Polar provides a trigger output to automatically rotate turntables through the measurement range.

All The Frequency Bands With One Measurement Set

After measuring, you can choose to process and display any or all of the ISO frequency bands (1, 1/2, 1/3, 1/6, or 1/12 octave centers). Displays include polar (overlay and tiled), beamwidth, DI, time, frequency, and 3D waterfall of magnitude, phase or group delay data. With Sound Lab Polar, partial polar data can be mirrored and displayed around 0° or 180°.

Full Spherical Data

Sound Lab Polar allows for several different ways of measuring the full spherical data, including the equally spaced Icosahedral method. A single plane measurement can be used to produce a full spherical response by rotational symmetry. The full response is displayed as a balloon with selectable frequency range and can be exported to the Ease 3.0 modeling program.
